Food, Service and Ambience is amazing for this Santa Fe restaurant. One of the best ones I have been to and the only one for miles around.
We were there this evening with a party of 6. If it were not for our server, Aaron (hope the spelling is correct) this would've been a busted visit (the food did not meet expectations and was mediocre at best). She was extremely helpful with making recommendations, making sure we stayed hydrated, and ensuring that our food was delivered in a timely manner! She was very engaged with everyone in my party and even made time to have a few conversations with us. She was incredible and whenever anyone goes to this location in Hammond, they should make sure and ask for her! I'll return just to sit in her section if it's only for drinks.
The bread's to die for. The steak isn't bad either. Cook as ordered and nice size portions. Service was good and the restaurant was very well maintained and clean. It's a good to for casual night out.
Just terrific.. they cut their own beef and season to order! Fish tacos were delightful and the old stand by chicken fried steak ( battered here) is always a good choice. We had merlo and sweet tea. I'm coming back. No need to go pricey when this place is here in town
Always love me some Santa Fe while visiting hammond! The Bloody Mary was tasty! I also got the strawberry margarita which was great too. 4 star due to service. Bartender was super sweet but was very slow. She kept apologizing and was very thoughtful but it was an empty restaurant. My friend said her steak was good retry good, no sauce needed. The egg rolls were really good too!
